Firefly’s ICAT Reveals Application Acceleration

Firefly Communications announced today the introduction of their
innovative Infrastructure Consolidation and Application Acceleration
Technologies (ICAT) course. ICAT is designed to familiarize IT
professionals with technologies to help overcome consolidation and
scalability challenges using emerging hardware, software, and
solutions from Cisco Systems. This course is highly recommended for
anyone who is charged with consolidating data center and branch
office hardware, software, and management infrastructure for
multiple sites in effort to contain IT expenditures and minimize
operational complexity.
ICAT is a two-day instructor-led lecture and lab course that
provides learners with information about application acceleration
technologies and how they can be leveraged to help enable
centralization of a distributed IT infrastructure. This course
covers multiple relevant technologies from Cisco Systems, including
Wide Area File Services (WAFS), Application and Content Networking
System (ACNS) software, Application Velocity System (AVS), and
content switching products.
ICAT classes are currently available throughout the US for private
