Next-Generation MDS Training Now Available

Firefly announced today the availability of the first training courses that
cover the new Generation 2 MDS 9000 platform, including SAN-OS 3.0, the MDS 9513,
and the new 4-Gbps and 10-Gbps Fibre Channel line cards.
Design & Architect: Cisco Storage Design Fundamentals
This new course developed Firefly offers a fresh look at how to design scalable, reliable, and secure
SANs with the MDS 9000, including the new Generation 2 hardware and SAN-OS 3.0.
Deploy & Support: Deploying the Cisco MDS 9000 Generation 2
This 1-day update training focuses on the new Generation 2 and SAN-OS 3.0 features from a support
engineering perspective. Topics include hardware installation, changes to system management processes,
new features like FCIP Tape Acceleration, Fibre Channel Write Acceleration, and network-based
storage virtualization applications.
